At Mackay North State High School camps and excursions play an important and valuable part of normal school life.

Excursions perform important student educational outcomes relating to specific subjects and year levels. These excursions give students an excellent opportunity to learn outside the classroom environment and integrate important life skills with fellow students and teachers.

Year coordinators also organise year level camps as a reward for good behaviour over the school year and are well received by all students and teachers.

Annual camps / excursions include:

  •   Year 8 - leadership Development / team building
  •   Year 11 - leadership Development / team building
  •   Marine and Aquatic Practices - boating excursions

Interstate or International Trips

  - Ski Trip

  - ANZAC Marching Band Trip
