Enrolling at our school

  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Prior to enrolling at Mackay North State High School, please refer to our catchment boundaries​ to ensure that your student resides within our designated catchment area.
  • All out of catchment enrolment applications​​​ will be considered as required by Education Queensland guidelines for enrolment.

​Step 1​

If you believe that your student resides within our catchment area, please complete the enrolment application. 

You are required to provide students Birth Certificate, proof of residency (to prove you live in our catchment) and latest school reports.

On completion of all sections of the enrolment application and sighting evidence of residing within the catchment and student birth certificate, parents/guardians will then be invited to attend an enrolment interview with one our Executive Team.


Enrolling into year 7 for the following year.

  • School visits will commence in Mid Term 2 for our feeder schools.  Application packs will be delivered personally to each student or alternatively an Enrolment Application.pdf can be downloaded from our website.

  • The school will collect all incoming future enrolments and notify parents of application outcome in Term 4.  Upon successful application you will then be sent correspondence​ with relevant information of Enrolment Interview process.
